Share your smile and enthusiasm with more than 40 veterans who reside at Merle’s Place, an onsite shelter at the Interfaith offices in Escondido. Each day this Nutrition Center provides three meals a day to these veterans who are working towards self-sufficiency. By preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, or dinner you will provide them with nutritious meals that will support them throughout the day, as they work toward personal goals regarding employment, housing, and life skills.
We need to fill the following shifts:
Every Tuesday and Wednesday – lunch shift from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
5th Thursday and 5th Friday of the month – dinner shift from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday breakfast shifts from 7-9 a.m.
1st, 4th and 5th Saturday of the month – dinner shift from 4-6:30 p.m.
