Continuing unemployment rates, coupled with San Diego County’s high cost of living, creates significant hurdles for low-income families working towards self-sufficiency. While the economy slowly recovers from the recession, 1 in 4 children still remain below the poverty line.

Interfaith is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty in San Diego’s North County region. Last year alone, our comprehensive programs worked to empower over 16,000 low-income individuals and families to achieve independence and self-sufficiency.
