This photography project connects local Oceanside teens and teens in Cartagena, Colombia, by bringing into focus two different yet parallel communities as seen through the lenses of the youth who reside there. The exhibit features 100 captivating photographs that weave together the vibrant tapestry of everyday life in these two communities - a juxtaposition of rural and urban images; from the enigmatic to the iconic, from the sorrowful to the sublime.

The exhibit is open to the public at the Oceanside Museum of Art through December 18, 2011. Feel free to check out the gallery of photoson display.

Prints of specific photos are available for purchase.

11"x16.5" - $75

8"x12" - $25

If you would like to order a print of one of the photographs, please call us at (760) 721-2117 or contact us via email.

The Transitional Youth Academy, run by Interfaith Community Services (a local 501(c)(3), is hosting this event to showcase the photographs of the youth participants. This program supports at-risk youth in building the life skills, educational, and vocational skills needed to successfully transition into adulthood.
