Interfaith Community Services is continually thankful to receive support from a diverse group of corporations, foundations, and government agencies. Our partners are critical to advancing our mission of helping people help themselves. Last year we were supported by $3,813,683 in private charitable gifts by 1,817 individuals, families, foundations, corporations, faith communities, and organizations. Additionally, 1,015 donors provided food and other in-kind supplies and equipment valued at $942,947 to benefit our programs.
Interfaith also greatly benefits from the service of hundreds of dedicated volunteers each year. Volunteers are deeply integrated and engaged into the operations of the organization, expanding service capacity and empowering Interfaith to transform more lives. Thanks to our committed and compassionate volunteers, Interfaith is able to offer clients a significantly higher level of service than we could ever accomplish alone.
While not a faith-based organization, it is also of note that Interfaith Community Services is supported by contributions of 355 diverse faith centers to strengthen our programs and support services. Founded in 1979, Interfaith provides a pathway towards self-sufficiency for over 16,000 homeless and low-income community members each year.
