Interfaith Community Services was initially founded in 1979 to address the growing needs of the community related to poverty and homelessness.  Today, Interfaith provides a wide range of social services for homeless individuals, veterans, unemployed, youth and low-income community members.  Headquartered at the Betty and Melvin Cohn Center in Escondido, Interfaith has grown to be the most comprehensive agency in North County, with multiple locations, many open 24 hours a day.

Last year alone, Interfaith empowered over 16,000 individuals to begin a path towards self-sufficiency through one of our programs.
