Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary Donates $4,850 towards Ending Homelessness

Interfaith was honored this week to receive $4,850 from the Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary Club!

With the motto of “Service Above Self”, the Rotary Club has been raising and donating money in the Carlsbad area since 1980.  This year, the club set aside funds to help address homelessness in North County, and specifically Carlsbad. Together, Interfaith and the Rotary Club are working towards the common goal of helping the homeless population get off the streets, find access to affordable housing and basic needs, secure a job and become a productive member of our community.

The funds will be used specifically to support services at Interfaith’s Carlsbad Service Center, where our team is working every day to end and prevent homelessness.

Thank you to Club member Julie Baker (pictured on right) and the entire Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary Club!

The donation will also be matched by the Encinitas-based Leichtag Foundation– a great example of the coastal community coming together to double their impact on this important issue!
