Interfaith Community Services’ employee-led Racial Justice Working Group has recently altered
its name to more accurately reflect its mission, internal goals, and aspirations for broader
community impact. Going forward, the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Anti-Racism (DEIA)
Working Group will continue to focus its efforts on combatting systemic racism and all forms of
oppression and marginalization.

We aspire to ensure a just and equitable work environment by engaging in the development of
internal policies, practices, and procedures that allow all Interfaith staff, volunteers,
collaborators, and donors to feel valued, supported, and respected. Simultaneously, as a leader
and community partner, we work externally to further empower clients and improve
communities served through systems change, as a means of bringing to fruition our vision of a
society in which all people can lead healthy, self-sufficient lives.
