On behalf of the 17,484 men, women, and children you served this year at Interfaith Community Services, THANK YOU for your support in 2017. Because of your time, talents, compassion, and generosity, we wanted to give you a snapshot of what YOU accomplished this last year:
YOU found housing for 511 formerly homeless veterans
YOU helped 6,120 children receive services at one of our North County locations
YOU served over 147,682 meals to hungry North County residents
YOU helped 100% of our Transitional Youth Academy high school seniors graduate
YOU sheltered 924 individuals overcoming homelessness under an Interfaith roof
While these numbers are impressive, what really inspires me are the 17,000+ stories of hope, resiliency, and success they represent. This year, we embodied the idea that everyone has a story to tell. Each story we shared – whether it was of loss, restoration, perseverance, or compassion – reflects that as a community, we are on the right path to changing more lives than ever in the coming year.
I hope you’ll take a few moments to reflect on the change you made possible in 2017 by supporting Interfaith. Through your generosity, you continue to sustain our efforts to make North San Diego County a healthier and happier place for us all to call home.
Together we can accomplish more than we could ever do alone, and I know that we’ll impact even more lives in 2018 than ever before.
Wishing you and your loved ones a very Happy New Year,
Cohn Family CEO Chair
