HomeAid San Diego Donates over 5,000 Diapers to Interfaith
Interfaith thanks HomeAid San Diego for making an incredible donation to babies and families in need this past week. The organization dropped off over 5,000 diapers, 5,000 wipes, and other essentials including formula, baby food, toys, books, blankets and diaper cream to Interfaith to restock our warehouse. The donations collected resulted from the HomeAid Essentials for Young Lives campaign, an annual HomeAid spring community outreach program held between Mother’s and Father’s Day to collect diapers and other essential baby items for families in need.
Interfaith also thanks Watkins Landmark Construction, a local Southern California construction company, for assisting in the delivery of the items to Interfaith Community Services’ Betty and Melvin Cohn Center in Escondido on Friday, September 30th.
Thanks to HomeAid, Interfaith will now be able to supply local families in need with items for their children that can be expensive and are often not at top of mind when our community is thinking about making a donation to our organization. We appreciate HomeAid’s support of local families and as always, look forward to continuing our partnership to help people help themselves!
