Interfaith welcomes new Director of Veteran Services

2016-05-09 12.23.06Megan Hawker began working with Interfaith Community Services as a Clinical Therapist in 2015 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rochester Institute of Technology, and her Masters and Doctorate of Psychology in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University. A licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of California, Megan served on active duty in the Army, including two deployments to Iraq; she is currently a Medical Service Officer in the Army Reserves.

While having worked in both for-profit and non-profit settings, Megan’s passion and research focus is on post-traumatic growth in Iraq and Afghanistan veterans. Prior to joining Interfaith, Megan worked at both Palomar Family Counseling Services, Inc. and ACI Specialty Benefits focusing on intervention support, counseling for individuals and families, and clinical operations.

Interfaith is excited to welcome Megan into this new role and see all she can achieve with our Veterans programs and services!
