It’s Tax Time – We Need Your Help!

ECSS 041 copyNow’s the time you can help low-income individuals file their tax returns!

Tax season is right around the corner and Interfaith needs your help to return hundreds of thousands of dollars back into our community. Last year alone, we helped over 1,300 families file their taxes, which resulted in refunds that went to the people that need it the most and back into our communities.

Interfaith conducts our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program in Escondido, San Marcos and Oceanside. All of our sites are in need of volunteers for the 2015 tax season! If you have any questions about the program or are interested in signing up, please register here.

Want to volunteer? No experience needed!

We conduct trainings for various positions, including:

  • Tax preparers
  • Greeters
  • Translators

Trainings include online practice labs, step-by-step personal guidance and additional personal assistance, if needed. All training materials will be provided free of cost.
