Needs of the Week: April 26th

Every week, Interfaith will be sharing both an in-kind donation and volunteer project “Need of the Week.” These are currently the items and volunteer projects we need the most assistance with. Give us a call today at (760) 489-6380 ext. 204 to get involved today!

Volunteer Need of the Week: Client Intake

Intake volunteers are essential to the service Interfaith offers to people in the community. With empathy and resourcefulness, intake volunteers provide intake, assessment, and referrals for the homeless and low-income population, with the goal of moving clients from crisis to self-sufficiency.

This is an on-going, weekly commitment. Shifts can be one day a week, or multiple days a week.

In-Kind Need of the Week: Full-sized bedding

You can help Interfaith clients settle into their new homes by donating queen-sized bedding for their new mattresses! Often times, when an individual or family has been homeless and then is able to move into a new apartment or house, they don’t have the belongings or furnishings needed to live comfortably.  By donating queen-sized bedding to Interfaith, you can help us provide our clients with a necessity that is often over looked.
