Needs of the Week: June 19th

Every week, Interfaith will be sharing both an in-kind donation and volunteer project “Need of the Week.” These are currently the items and volunteer projects we need the most assistance with. Give us a call today at (760) 489-6380 ext. 204 to get involved today!

This week, we need your help coming both volunteer time and in-kind donations:

Volunteer Need of the Week: Legal Aid Clinic Volunteers

Every week, Interfaith holds a free legal aid clinic for our clients. Available at our Betty and Melvin Cohn Center in Escondido (550 W. Washington Avenue), we offer access to expert volunteer legal workers for families to resolve their legal problems free of charge.

Currently, we are in need of more volunteers for this legal aid clinic! Legal assistance is offered to the public every Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

In-Kind Need of the Week: Beans

Interfaith is in need of beans that we can include in emergency food kits distributed to our clients in need of nutritional support. When individuals and families are in need of nutritional support, they can receive 5-day emergency food kits from Interfaith; your donation will help our clients receiving this support alleviate their hunger so they may move forward on their path to attaining self-sufficiency.

If you are interested in either of these opportunitiesplease click here or call Micki Hickox, Volunteer Coordinator, at (760) 489-6380 ext. 204.
