Tax season is right around the corner and Interfaith needs your help to return millions of dollars back into our community. During the 2015 tax season (December 2015 – April 2016), we helped over 1,900 families file their taxes which resulted in over $3M in refunds that went to the people needing it most and back into our communities!

We conduct trainings for various volunteer positions, including:

·Tax preparers

·Greeters

·Translators, and more!

Trainings include online practice labs, step-by-step personal guidance and additional personal assistance, if needed. All training materials will be provided free of cost.

Interfaith VITA sites are located in Escondido, San Marcos and Oceanside and operate during various times of the week (weekdays; weekends; evenings). All sites are in need of volunteers — join our VITA team and make a vital difference in our community!

Haven House - KurtDonation Need of the Week: Sleeping bags & new queen-sized bedding

Heading into the colder winter months, we need your help providing items that will help our clients sleep more comfortably.  You can help by donating sleeping bags for those who may not be in housing and new queen-sized bedding (sheets, comforters, etc.) for those clients recently placed into housing. Whether you hold a drive to collect in bulk, or donate individuals items, we appreciate your efforts to help return our clients this time of year.
