Needs of the Week: October 17th

At the beginning of every week, Interfaith will be sharing both an in-kind donation and volunteer project “Need of the Week.” These are currently the items and volunteer projects we need the most assistance with. Give us a call today at (760) 489-6380 ext. 204 to get involved today!

tyaVolunteer Need of the Week: Transitional Youth Academy Tutor/Mentor

We are proud that 92% of students who participated in our Transitional Youth Academy enrolled in college. And 70% improved their GPA due to the help they receive from staff and volunteers during the school year! Those statistics are remarkable, and our goal is to continue on that outstanding track as volunteers partner with high schoolers from Oceanside and El Camino high schools to build a strong foundation for their futures and our community.

TYA Tutor/Mentor volunteers are responsible for tutoring students at the Transitional Youth Academy Drop-In Center at Ditmar School. This position will help support the creation of “community” through developing positive relationships with students by providing academic mentoring and assisting students with workforce development.

food-donation Donation Need of the Week: Boxed Mac & Cheese, Canned Tuna and Rice

We need your help restocking our emergency food pantry with three items of frequently requested food: boxed mac % cheese, rice, and canned tuna.  Whether you hold a food drive to collect in bulk or donate individually, we appreciate your efforts to help Interfaith end hunger!
