Supervisor Roberts cuts the ribbon on new employment computer lab funded with Neighborhood Reinvestment funds
Supervisor Dave Roberts came to Interfaith yesterday afternoon to cut the ribbon on a beautiful new Employment Services computer lab, funded through a generous grant of $15,000 from the County’s Neighborhood Reinvestment funds. The grant paid for 12 new computers and computer chairs that will enable job-seekers , and is expected to help an estimated 10,000 people each year with employment related skill-building workshops. We think this is a great example of how the County grant program can work well to strengthen the community and account for every dollar granted.
Our thanks to Supervisor Roberts and all the staff who worked to put this together for the clients!
