Volunteer to Help End our Region’s Homelessness: 2017 Point-In-Time Count
We Need Your Help – Volunteer for the 2017 Point-in-Time Count!
Friday, January 27, 2017
4:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Spearheaded by the Regional Task Force on the Homeless, the Point-in-Time Count is a single-day, statistically reliable, unduplicated count of sheltered and unsheltered homeless individuals and families across the United States. Only by knowing who, where and how many people are experiencing homelessness can we plan and identify the resources needed to move these individuals and families into permanent housing.
YOU can participate in ending our region’s homelessness by volunteering in the Escondido Point-in-Time Count. The Escondido Count Site is located at our headquarters 550 W. Washington Ave., Escondido, CA 92025. The morning of the count, parking will be available in Interfaith’s parking lot, as well as across the street at the Escondido World Marketplace.
If you have any questions about participating in the 2017 Point-in-Time Count, please contact Holly Nelson, Behavioral Health Clinician, by calling (760) 489-6380 ext. 214 or via email by clicking here.
