What Really Works in Addressing Homelessness?
Interfaith Community Services is unique in that we are the first organization in San Diego to set a goal of, and publicly commit to, housing a significant number of people. Primary data demonstrates that over the last 18-months, Interfaith successfully ended or prevented homelessness through our unique multi-service model for 2,022 men, women, and children.
However, can we prove it and scale our model regionally? To do this, robust empirical data is required.
Interfaith is launching a new agency-wide database in conjunction with the 2-1-1 San Diego regional database to complete a thorough and long-term evaluation of actual outcomes. Our goal is to analyze and evaluate the performance of our comprehensive multi-service model, to refine and enhance our practice. The conclusions shared with the many regional partners will eventually be implemented locally and regionally with practices proven to work.
Now is your chance to join this one of a kind research opportunity!
Funders Together to End Homelessness has offered Interfaith a $25,000 matching grant for this research project. All donations up to that amount will be matched 100%, doubling the impact of your contribution. The total cost of this project is $115,000. So far, we have raised $60,000. Once completed the project will be nearly fully funded.
Thank you for helping thousands of people escape homelessness.
