African Americans and the Arts

Interfaith Community Services is both pleased and honored to join in the celebration of important people and events in the history of the African diaspora, while emphasizing the central role of Blacks in U.S. history.

Per the Association for the Study of African American Life & History, this year's theme is: African Americans and the Arts.

Therefore, throughout the month, we will pay homage to individuals, who - in the name of cultural expression - have excelled and made noteworthy contributions within various fields of visual and performing arts.

Join us for this episode as we interview Lisa the most tenured reporter on homelessness in San Diego. As we cover our broken homeless system, the increased need for behavioral health beds, and the challenges people face experiencing homelessness.
