The Empathy Building Experience is Back!
Step into a neighbor’s shoes during our powerful Empathy Building Experience. Join us for this immersive event where participants take on a “Day in a Life” as someone living in poverty.
During the simulation, each participant represents a unique family member or individual navigating life below the poverty line. Every 15-minute interval represents a week in a month. Throughout the “month,” the family must manage their limited “funds” while balancing real-life challenges and unexpected events.

- Age: 16 and over
- Where: One Safe Place, 1050 Los Vallecitos Blvd, San Marcos
