7 Sociocultural Contexts in Client Care

How identity, culture, and lived experience shape client interactions. Culturally responsive approaches.

8 Boundaries & Preventing Vicarious Trauma

Self-care practices, professional boundaries, and strategies for preventing burnout in helping roles.

1 Core Empathic Communication Skills (Required)

Foundational skills to build trust and connection. Active listening, responding to distress, and building rapport.

9 Multidisciplinary Team-Based Care and Communication

Strengthen collaboration and inclusive communication within service delivery teams.

2 Equity Foundations

Explore personal biases and their impact on interactions. Strategies for equitable,

10 Documentation & Client Exits/Endings

Best practices in trauma-informed, person-first documentation and managing client transitions.
