Moving Clients Into their New Home

The goal of each of these services is to bridge our program members from homelessness to long-term housing. Aside from our Haven House Emergency Shelter, housing programs are only accessible on a referral basis through external organizations or Interfaith case managers. Submit a request for eligibility through the "Inquiry Form" below. 

What does Housing & Shelter also cover?

The Oceanside Navigation Center is a 75-bed, low-barrier shelter for Oceanside residents experiencing homelessness, offering stays of up to 90 days. Operating 24/7, the program uses a Housing First, trauma-informed approach to quickly stabilize participants and support towards securing permanent housing.

Interfaith offers temporary housing for people experiencing homelessness - with or without a housing intervention already in place. This program serves to assist in their transition from homelessness to permanent housing. Our Temporary Housing is located in Escondido. Availability: (760) 489-6380

Permanent housing units and programs provide safe and affordable housing for homeless community members as well as families with a disabled adult.

This temporary housing program is for Veterans discharge from service with any discharge except dishonorable. This program has three program models: Service Intensive, Low Demand, and Bridge Housing. This program is in Oceanside. Availability: (760) 489-6380 or gpdreferrals@interfaithservices.org.

The Family Shelter program is a short-term shelter program serving traditional and non-traditional families. This program provides a safe, stable environment for families seeking permanent housing. Availability: (760) 803-0877 or familyshelterinquiry@interfaithservices.org.

Interfaith offers temporary housing for unhoused people struggling with mental health. Referrals are made through Mental Health Systems.

This program provides short to moderate-term financial assistance for people and families experiencing homelessness.

Interfaith's Abraham and Lillian Turk Recuperative Care Program (RCP) provides short-term medical respite program for people experiencing homelessness within the County of San Diego. RCP supports individuals in stabilization of medical or mental health conditions as well as management of ongoing health care and housing needs.
